- Designed for the purpose of blending fast, nutritious smoothies, the Smoothie Elite does the job better than an ordinary blender and is easy to operate. The 56-ounce jar has measuring marks for adding just enough fruit, yogurt, and protein powder (or whatever you prefer in your smoothie) for either two or four servings. Running at 500 watts, the pulse-power motor blends at three different speeds--mix, smooth, and pulse--letting you control the consistency of your drink. The jar's shape pulls ingredients down to the center blade, ensuring that even larger foods mix evenly. Additionally, a unique stir stick in the center of the Smoothie Elite's jar breaks up air pockets during blending for more efficient mixing. This smoothie maker even has a special heavy-duty ice-crushing blade, so frozen drinks are blended into a consistent texture. A dispenser valve on the front of the unit eliminates spills so you can continuously mix and serve without a mess. This machine is an inexpensive alternative to ordering daily smoothies at a juice bar. It measures 8 by 9 by 17-1/4 inches and is covered by a one-year limited warranty. - A friend of mine introduced me to this blender and I really enjoyed it. I do not make many smoothies but this blender does make great daiquiries and milk shakes.
- This is a very good unit, my wife and I use it several times a week and when friends are over. We only use it for frozen Margarita's and its never failed us. My wife says it needs to have a Bigger container when you are serving up three or four at a time, and the tap drips, other than that its a bargain.

- I only used this a couple times before the handle on the pour spout broke off. Then I started finding small pieces of plastic in my smoothies - the base was starting to shred! So I just threw it in the trash. I would NOT recommend this item!
- This unit is difficult to clean, mostly because of the ridiculous pour spout. It really serves no purpose other than making things difficult. I find it quite easy to lift the jar and pour the contents as you would with a gallon of milk or any beverage. Also, the plastic base that attaches to the jar absorbs the smell of everything you blend and cant start to smell foul after only a few uses. I received this item as a gift but if I were in the market for a smoothie maker I would go for a regular blender with no pour spout and one that's made with better materials. Probably a Waring blender or something of the sort.
- Don't waste your time, money and ingredients!
- I've been through 2 of these BTB smoothie makers. The last one left me with a mess of ingredients in the pitcher....and no smoothie. Spend a little morey and get a durable machine!
- worse thing in the kitchen
- don't buy it. this thing fell apart after two uses. the motor started smoking and then it leaked. we did not abuse it, just mixed together a banana, some yogurt and a few strawberries with non-fat milk. it certainly should have handled these ingredients quite easily. very disapointed in the quality. we threw it out and bought a real one.
- Consider this a throwaway :(
- I expected the motor to be the first thing to go, as it smelled like something burning and left a dark residue on the counter where it stood as I used it... but it was the blade assembly that let go after the dozenth or so time of using it. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. I can't recommend it, unless you can find it for a lot less and don't expect it to last very long.
- DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THIS PILE OF C***!!!! We used it maybe 12 times and it always smelled like it was burning and this last time it just smoked the motor and died. We do know what we are doing when we use it and have never had this problem with any other blender product. This thing is junk.
- Only used 3 times. Moter still going, I'll keep my fingers crossed, but everything else keeps breaking. The wand the first time I used it. The buttons work intermittently, and the valve the last time my wife used it.
- This has been used twice. The first time I used it, it made a great smoothie. I tried to use it this past Independence day and the "pulse" stopped and started continuously. After a while, something smelled like it was burning. On the bottom, there appears to be lots of specks of metal. Don't think I'll be buying a new one.
- I used this a few times a month. After six months, I smelled something burning, and now one of the speeds doesn't work. It is too late for the store to take it back, and it isn't worth sending in for manf. repair/replacement.
- I used this smoothie machine once, and it made a nice smoothie. The second time it locked up and I could smell something burning in the motor. I used the exact measurements for liquids and frozen fruit, so I'm confident I didn't do anything wrong. I sent it back for a refund immediately.
