- With a host of useful attachments, this slender wand takes the place of bulkier appliances. Its mobility allows you to go to the stove to blend a soup or whip potatoes, as needed. Chop onions in the food processing cup, or beat egg whites for a soufflE.

- I had a mixer like this years ago and loved it. This one has lots of power and I use it all the time. A great product.
- I've only used the chopper so far but I really like it! I think it was worth the small amount I spent to get this ;-) The handle is really heavy which I think gives stability to the chopper. I chopped some coriander leaves and some onion which came out really fine. I can't wait to try the other attachments :-)
- The best piece of kitchen equipment I've ever owned
- I had a Braun Multi mix for about ten years (possibly more) and absolutely loved it. When it finally died on me I was amazed that I could not find it for sale in any of the stores in my area (Midwest). Anyway, Amazon to the rescue.
There is no piece of kitchen equipment I use more than the multi-mix.
I use it to make chunky soups creamier -- pureeing right in the pot I'm cooking in. I use it to finely chop ground beef for certain meals, fine dice tomatoes for sauce (because the kids don't like the big chunks), and also pureeing many vegies to put into meals to hide them from the kids. I make smoothies for my children using partially frozen strawberries mixed with fruit flavored yogurt.
I do most all of my chopping using the processing attachment.
Everything rinses off very easily so that if I'm chopping many separate things, I can just give it a hot rinse to move on to the next ingredient. I can't say enough good things about it.
And of course, as a hand mixer, well, it mixes.
I have never used the bread hooks (my old version didn't have this) so I can't comment on them.

- I had this handmixer when I lived in England. I loved it so much, when I moved back to the states, I bought the US version. It is still my favorite mixer, it always gets the job done. All the extra attachments work very well with this, (except I have never tried the dough hooks...I have a kitchenaid mixer for that). I wish it came in more colors. Thats about it.

- I already had this mixer and bought a 2nd one for my son who likes to cook. He's already told me the accessories have been useful. This mixer has plenty of power, but the acessories make it very useful.

- I've seen some "so-so" reviews on this product but mine has been FANTASIC. It is my favorite kitchen tool. I have had one for 6 years, used it all of the time, dropped it a few times so the plastic cup is no longer pretty. I took my first model to the lake house because I don't like to be without it. I bought a second one. True to some of the complaints the cord in the back loosened and caused a short (after a year). I bought another... It is a great product. I would like to see them continue to make it, maybe they need to beef up the model to be sure it works consistently as I have seen some "less-than-perfect" reviews. I feel compelled to defend and recommend this great kitchen tool!
- This mixer is my favorite item in the kitchen. It is easy to reach, plug in and go. Whether I am mixing or chopping, I use the appliance several times a week. I use the dough beaters to my satisfaction, but have not used the juice implement very often. A great purchase!
- I bought this for my daughter and she couldn't be more pleased. I actually meant to buy just a mixer, so all the other features were an unexpected bonus. She loves it.
- Braun 4 in 1 hand multimixer
- I have used a Braun 4 in 1 hand Multimixer for years. I have also purchased this item for wedding gifts. I have no complaints against the mixer, just a disappointment. When I broke a little piece off the mixer part that makes "smoothies" I bought a whole new mixer thinking all the parts would be interchangeable. And I could just keep using all the old set with that one new piece. They changed the shape just enough so that can't be done. However, Amazon give me a good enough price and no shipping charges so I have no real complaints.
- This mixer works very well. I can't afford a big counter top model and this one fits in with my kitchen and cooking needs perfectly. It's easily stored in my cabinets and its easy to clean. This little tool is well worth the purchase.

- We bought a Braun Multimix 880 to replace an old Sunbeam mixer that had soldiered on for about 30 years. Having used a Braun coffee grinder for about 25 years with no problems, we anticipated a good, reliable device. However, the thing was a piece of junk. It was underpowered, didn't mix batters particularly well and, after the second use, it broke completely. It will simply not even turn on. I made several attempts to get help replacing it and was sent to a service center 70 miles away; they told me it wasn't worth gettung the thing repaired. Trying to navigate the Braun/Procter and Gamble website to register my disatisfaction was an additional nightmare. The Braun Multimix 880 is not worth the money being charged. There must be better products out there than this.

- I agree with others: Great while it lasts
- While it works, I love this mixer. Feels sturdy, balanced, and doesn't have the little exhaust grill that other handmixers have the collect goo. Except from bread dough, I barely use my stand mixer. The chopper is great for small jobs & salad dressings. The blender I use all the time to puree baby food or soup instead of waiting for it to cool, and getting my blender dirty.
But my SECOND multimix has just stopped working on the 2 low speeds. Each mixer lasted 3-4 years. I'm so disappointed that a Braun appliance has failed not once, but twice. And from the other reviews I've read, this is obviously a common problem that they should have fixed by now!!
- Great while it works, bad when it does not.
- I purchased this 11/06. On 2/08 it stopped working except for high speed.
When it worked it was terrific. I especially loved the chopper attachment.
It is disappointing to pay for a product that lasts a little over 2 years.
Not sure I could honestly recommend buying it unless you do not mind having to shell out for a new one in two years.

- I'm not one to write reviews, but this product deserves kudos from me. I know that packaging text will indicate that this mixer is not suitable for institutional use, but we use this model exclusively in our bakery for small mixing jobs not suitable for our 12qt mixer. We have tried all of the higher priced *******-Aid and O*str products but they failed in less than a year's worth of use. The secret is the direct drive motor assembly.
No plastic gears to strip or metal gears to fail. These units would last almost indefinetly if it were not for the failure of the speed switch. It will reach a point where all you have is high speed and pulse and we have used them in this condition until the switch fails completely, but the motor never, ever fails. Plenty of torque for the thickest, heaviest batter. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the issue with the switch, which may be due in part to our extensive use.
- We wanted an inexpensive hand mixer that could be used to make shakes, dough and mix spices - this hit the ball park at a very low price compared to what is out there!

- Braun Multi Mixer - good choice
- Delivery was prompt. The number of accessories was surprising, considering the reasonable cost. Have not yet tried the dough hooks but the clever cutting blade feature, in its own container, does a great job choppping onions with just a few "pulses". Great addition to the modern kitchen.
Downside is the many-sided chopping container rather than a smooth, round one for quick cleaning, but immediate rinsing after use ameliorates this design flaw.
