- Love it, my son loves it...Very convenient. You can move it all around, depending on your passengers. Easy to move to other cars. Folds up for easy storage in the trunk if you need the extra seat, and don't have your kid with you. cup holders on either side are great. There is a lot of space, espcially for bigger kids. It just works with the lap belt. I do miss the ability of my son to fall asleep comfortably, as he did with his baby seat.
- We now own 4 of these seats-- for our 3.5 year old twins
in 2 cars. They are great seats-- well designed, easy to use
and they look good. Far superior to the Graco turbo booster
which felt really cheap and was much narrower.
- We are very pleased with this purchase. Great quality and a good deal. The booster seat has plenty of padding for comfort. It is very easy for our child to enter and exit. We like that the armrests swivel up and out of the way, the cupholders easily fold in or out, and the head rest is easy to adjust.
It arrived in the time frame specified.
- I have the car seat with pink not grey though--great seat, but the pink gets dirty easily. I love the fact that it folds in 1/2 and is easy to transport around--light weight. As well the arm rests fold up which allows my children to strap themselves in, or at least try.
- Worked as expected in a real car accident
- Three weeks after buying this booster seat, my wife and son were in a car accident, where the car was struck on the side. My wife suffered a broken pelvis and other minor injuries. My son was strapped in his Compass B510 booster seat and it protected him - he had no injuries!
This booster seat is a snap to unfold and put in the car. It felt more sturdy than others on display at the store. The color and texture of the fabric is nice, and it blends very well with my grey leather seats.
Although the booster seat that was in the car accident had no visible signs of damage, it is suggested to replace them after a car accident because they may have hidden damage. I was satisfied with the original seat, so I purchased the same seat as a replacement.
- Safe, Comfortable, Durable, and Worth Every Cent
- I own two of the previous Compass booster seats (the B500 model) and they are outstanding. My youngest child just turned three so I ordered the new B510. I would have given the B500 a five-star rating and this model actually improves on it. The material is thicker and appears to be more durable (even though my other Compass seats are 2+ years old and the material is in perfect shape). It seems a bit bigger, and I expect that it will fit my children more comfortably as they get in the five-and-up range. One of my only complaints with the B500 was that the kids would sleep and look terribly uncomfortable because their heads didn't have anywhere to lay, but this model has wider (and, I assume, safer and more comfortable) "wings" around the head.
Overall this is an incredibly durable and safe product that is worth every cent. It's also easy to use (and was recently named the only booster seat to earn all five-star ratings for ease of use by the NHTSA). I figure that my kids will spend many hours in this booster seat, and if they're a little more comfortable and happier and safer during those hours then it will be money well spent.
- Very nice seat. The industry must do something to improve the child safety seat systems but this one is at least easy to use and looks like it would be safe. Easier to put on seat belt than others I have used. Recommend.
- Great booster - love that it folds
- Great booster seat. It is exceptionally safe and sturdy. Easily fits into our small car. My daughter seems to be very comfortable in it, and naps during long drives. I love that it folds up and comes in a carrying case - great for airline travel. I highly recommend this seat!
- We have three of these for our kids. They really work well, are comfortable and when needed, easy to fold up. We love it! The newer models come with a carrying case (great for air travel) and deeper headrests.
- My 4 1/2 y/o daughter loves her booster seat. She says it's very comfy and likes that she can buckle herself in. It's light and I love that it folds for storage and traveling. The only issue we have is the fact that the seat belt tends to twist. We have a Chrysler minivan and the booster chair is in a free standing seat, so there's a lot of seat belt to twist. I'll keep my daughter in her Radian 65 for a bit longer since it is safer and use the Compass in others' cars or when we travel.

- Really like this booster seat - I like how easy it is to fold up and move from one car to another. Can't beat a five star safety rating -- why would anyone buy a booster that didn't have the highest possible safety rating?
- I purchased two of these seats for my five year old twins. I love that they come right out of the box and into the car. They are well made, solid booster seats. I tried out two other seats before settling on the Compass. I was not happy with the Graco made boosters. Compared to the Compass they appear to be cheaply made: flimsy plastic and fabric, frabric on the head rest and back rest never stayed in place and the seats needed to be completely put together (screws and everything). I researched boosters and found that the reviews and standards for the Compass were fabulous. Amazon definitely has the lowest price (so far).
- I bought this Booster seat a couple months ago for my 5 year old boy, and it seems to be very comfortable and sturdy compare to some other brands. However, the fabric is the polyester, not exactly what I wanted. I like the velvety fabric, but that model dosn't come in grey colors
(to mach my car interior).
I had to give up color or fabric.
Overall I'm happy with this purchase.
- I love this seat.. it's cushier than the typical, less expensive boosters. It has more padding than our back-up Evenflo. I like the head wings, as my son falls asleep within moments of getting into the car. The best thing is that it's foldable and I can take it with me traveling. It's fairly light. This model (at least that I bought) here came with a travel case ($[...] value).. the other ones listed it seems you had to purchase separately.
- safe, but not comfortable
- This car seat is a great seat from a flexibility and safety standpoint, but not great if the child plans to sleep. My daughter could not keep her head up no matter how I positioned the base. Not sure i would recommend if your child is going to be in it for more than a short ride.
