- THIS IS A FABULOUS PRODUCT, EASY TO USE & CLEAN UP IS SO FAST. I GIVE IT 10 STARS ALL THE WAY.
- I purchased this for my Sister as a Christmas gift and she loves it..It's easy to change the blades and a breeze to clean. the food shoot loads easily and it's a good size for home use..Not too large so you are reluctant to use it for a small amount of food as well as a large amount of chopped food for a crowd..
- cuisinart dlc=10s 7 cup food processor
- BOUGHT THIS FOR A CHRISTMAS PRESENT FOR MY SON WHO LOVES TO COOK. IT IS AMAZING. IT PREPARES FOOD QUICKLY, WHETHER CHOPPING, SLICING, DICING OR ANYTHING ELSE. CLEAN UP IS VERY EASY. CAN'T WAIT TO GO VISIT SO HE CAN PREPARE SOMETHING FOR US USING THE FOOD PROCESSOR. HE REALLY LOVES IT. GREAT PRICE FOR A DECENT SIZED FOOD PROCESSOR....AND IT'S A CUISINART.
- this unit is very fast, efficient and should allow you to perform virtually
any food procedure-
- This processor is great I got it for my wife for christmas and it helps out so much in the kitchen a job that use to take 2 hours we were done in 15 min. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
- I purchased the food processor to assist me in putting up garden produce. As I has arthritis in my hands, this has been a wonderful addition to my kitchen. It works absolutely great and saves me a great deal of time. I love the rinse and dry part. I now use it quite frequently for more chores and cannot wait to try making bread using the Cuisinart.
- Fastest service I have ever had. The unit came in as advertised and in great shape. Can't ask for more.
- Wonderful food processor. Best one I have ever used. Very pleased, would recommend one to all....

- Was hoping for more than I got
- The product information said the cutters were compatable with other cuisinarts, however my old cutter were to big for the bowl. If I had known that, I wouldn't have purchased it.
- DO NOT buy this food processor
- This is the absolute worst food processor I have ever used. The engineering is terrible--it's the clunkiest thing to put together. You must fight with it to get the chopping pieces together. It's easier to use a hand grinder!
I've has this for 6 months or so and am putting into a tag sale on the free table!
- BLADE IS FALLING APART! TINY PIECE IN FOOD!!!
- I HAVE OWNED THIS FOOD PROCESOR AOBUT 1 YEAR. I USE IT ON AN AVERAGE OF ONCE A WEEK. CHOP MEAT AND VEGIES. THE BLADE IS FALLING APART. A TINY PIECE BROKE OFF AND NOW I HAVE TO THROW OUT AN ENTIRE MEAl! VERY DANGEROUS! I AM SWITCHING TO KITCHEN AID.
- NOT WHAT I SAW IN YOUR WEBSITE.
- THE REVBERE PAN SHOWN IN YOUR WEBSITE IS NOT THE 1.5 QUART PAN I GOT.
I DO NOT LIKE THE ONE I GO. IT IS TOO NARROW A DIAMETER ACROSSS THE BOTTOM
I WANTED THE 1.5 QUART SHOWN IN YOUR WEBSITE VIDEO.

- Wonderful food processor. Best one I have ever used. Very pleased, would recommend one to all....
- Several reviews noted that the video came in obsolete VHS form. Cuisinart got the message. It's now on DVD. The chef on the DVD had a handy habit of pushing the cutting blade down firmly onto the post and then reaching underneath the bowl to hold the cutting blade in place while dumping the contents. I found that most of my fat fingers don't fit, but I can manage the trick.
The many parts become second nature rather quickly. I have a teeny tiny RV kitchen sink, no dishwasher, and I still manage to wash it OK. Draining dry just requires creative piling. I'm going to try cookie dough. Space is very limited, so this little machine will have to be the mixer as well.
This processor comes with a medium slicer blade and the shredder. I found the addition of the 6mm french fry blade was the only addition I'll likely use. I don't fine grate things. I'll likely use the shredder for any kind of julienne output. Shredding reminds me. Have to get the ingredients for potato pancakes.
- This food processor is wonderful! I was really surprised as to the weight of the machine - it's a monster! It processes food with the greatest of ease.
- Making friends with a Cuisanart
- This great big cuisanart arrived to replace a little old model I got in the 70s. It seems not only big but a bit complicated to operate...any appliance that needs a DVD to explain itself has a slight problem. However, it works well once you wrangle it into position. I'm beginning to like it alot!
- The food processor works fine. But the lid is difficult to manage and clean. I think it was designed by lawyers who were more concerned about the possibility of a cut finger than chopping or grating food. I'd rather have a Robot Coupe, but for the price this is ok.
- Quiet, efficient, if a little small
- While I didn't try using this in my lap or mistake it for a saucepan (see 1-star reviews), I have used the DLC-10S for a variety of kitchen tasks and it's performed very well. I was astounded at how quiet it is, especially compared to my old Black & Decker food processor.
I'm happy to have the two different lids. I rarely use the feed chute so it's handy to have the low-profile lid, yet I'm happy to have the other when it's needed.
One caveat: While my old B&D was also a 7-cup model, the design of the bowl meant that I could fill it fairly full with no problem. However, because the center post of the Cuisinart is so low, anything very liquid-y will leak through, as it does whenever I make my salsa. Seems to me that 7 cups should mean 7 cups.
On the other hand, the whole machine is comfortingly heavy and stable, meaning it doesn't have a tendency to bounce around the countertop when working, even if the load becomes a bit unbalanced.
Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and I look forward to many years of service.
- I got this model for a wedding shower gift in 1983!
It is now 25 years later, & I am still using it & it never had to be repaired, unbelievable!
And, the blades are still sharp. Mine came with a book ;)
Works like a charm!
- Both the site and the product's packaging refer to an instructional DVD. This, I suppose, is meant to be the up-market version of an instruction manual. However, no such DVD was included. I don't know if it was Cuisinart's or Amazon's fault; I do know that it annoyed me.
- The Best Processor...Trust Cuisinart
- OK...I've had this processor for over 20 years, and it's the best ever. My son is "into" cooking now and was looking at the Kitchen Aid...Ok I'm sure it's fine, but Cuisinart is state of the art. You just can't beat it. And for those who don't like, say it falls apart--what are you doing to it? Perhaps you don't know how to use a food processor. I have some pretty terrific recipes that wouldn't be possible without this wonderful machine...and then there's just slicing potatoes so thin that au gratins come out like a French Bistro. You need to practice--but when you've got it down, there's none better than a Cuisinart.
