- Good Quality at a good price
- The Kingston 2G SD is quite competitive with its Sandisk equal. I lost my 2G Sandisk SD so I ordered Kingston as a replacement for use in my digital camera. The write speed seems similar, as a matter of fact, I think it's even a little faster than the Sandisk.
Kingston also offers a lifetime warranty, which is a plus in my book.
Give it a try; you'll be happy you did.
- Good product but some restrictions
- This SD card works great. But if you use it in your digital camera..I have not been able to get it to print directly from my Epson PictureMate...it will not recognize the SD card (or adapter). Works fine with my HP 7350 printer.
- I bought this card for my new camera. So far, it's working great. No issues at all. For the price, you can't beat it.
- Using this card with the Panasonic DMC-FZ28K, for just over a week now and very happy with results.
- It's a memory card. it did what it was supposed to do. No problems and it's never erased itself so, hooray!
- I would like to thank you for given me the opportunity to make this great purchase at such a valuable price. I enjoy the music that I downloaded on this disk. It really highlights my day when I can just set back and listen to my best songs.
- I was reluctant to try this because the price seemed too good to be true. I'm so glad I did - it is terrific!
- Until recently, I bought nothing but SanDisk and Lexar SD cards for my digital cameras. To be honest, they always worked perfectly and I have no complaints about the products themselves.
A few months ago I was on the website of a well-known photo shop located in New York City and came across these Class 6 Kingston cards selling for about half the price of the SanDisk and Lexar products.
Being in the market from some 4gb cards, I figured that I had nothing to lose (the store has a no-questions-asked return policy) so I ordered two.
One went into my Nikon D80 and the other into my Canon G9. All that I can say is that they work just as well as the higher priced brands. I see no difference in performance and they have proven to be 100% reliable.
Frankly, I don't find that one brand of Class 6 cards is any faster than another in my cameras. Perhaps someone with sophisticated testing equipment can prove that one brand is a milisecond faster than another but, for all practical purposes, it really doesn't matter.
- Product as advertised, and works well. fits well in the micro SD ports in the devices I have and the SD card fits well in the SD card readers I have used it in
- It's cheap, and gets the job done. Enough said. Better deal than one found in any store.

- My card died in a month....
- I got this Class 6 SDHC card free with my HF100 camcorder and in about a month it died. The camcorder with this card just says "Check the card" and will not let you format or re-initialize the card. A PC doesn't even recognize the card.
Guess you get what you pay for....nothing.
- I got this with a fujufilm camera I bought. It seem to be working fine for about 10 pictures. Then a message would popup on my camera that the memory needed to be formated. So I formated. Did this repeatedly for three times. I replaced it with a transcend. Since then, no problems. I hate to give bad reviews, but under the circumstances. I guess you get bad products ocassionally. Guess it was my turn.
- Can I give a 0 for Customer Service
- I bought this card in February and never received it. I wrote to the company and told them and never got a response.
POOR! POOR! customer service. When ordering electronics be sure that it is not from these people
I am still waiting for them to tell me where my chip is.
- Great price and performance, no issues with compatibility but died after 13 months of normal use, hate it for a minute as I lost the chance to take some great pictures of my son. I've had, actually still have, some SD from Sandisk for some years (cell phone, Camera) and have not had a single failure, wouldn't recommend to buy this product
- Not working with Apple iPhoto
- I brought this 4Gb memory card for use with my Canon A710 IS digital camera. Before this I had a 1Gb Kingston card and had no problems transferring the contents to iPhoto (latest version) on my MacBook Pro. The new memory card is not recognized by iPhoto. I've updated the Canon ImageBrowser software to see if it would recognize this card with no results so far. I've attempted the transfer using USB from my camera and using a USB card reader. As of this review I'm still pursuing a solution to this impasse. I've rated this product with a tentative 2 stars since there may be a simple solution out there that I've missed.

- Not suitable for Windows Vista Readyboost
- Does the job well for the camera. I tried it adding as an additional external RAM for my PC(Vista Readyboost Technology). But the OS rejected the card saying its not suitable for that.

- Does exactly what you would expect.
Would be nice if it were cheaper though.
- CHECK COMPATIBILITY FIRST...then order.
- I didn't think my Casio EX-Z40 was that old, so I went ahead an ordered this 2GB 50X Kingston memory card in the hopes that I could take a ton more photos. Of course, my first experience using this memory card was at my Great Grandmother's 100th birthday. I went to shoot video and once I finished and went to save it the screen popped up with "System Error". WHAT?!! This became very common with this memory card. I am frustrated more at Casio I suppose than this memory card, but it's hard to tell which one is actually the culprit, as other memory cards have worked great. If you are not really hard up on how fast it saves the file, I would perhaps check with your camera/device for compatibility before making this purchase. I guess I could try using this in my HD video camera. The intermittent function of the card will ruin taking photos at an event and you will want to put your camera away, so better to be safe than sorry...even if it only costs sixteen bucks. I rate this a 4 out of 5, just for the mere fact that it works when it wants to.
