- A great accessory for your KitchenAid stand mixer. This set features a roller to knead and roll your pasta, a fettuccine cutter, and a spaghetti cutter. Each is easy to install and easy to remove for cleaning with the including cleaning brush. Fits all KitchenAid stand mixers, not shown. Model KPRA.

- I like to cook, thought it would be fun to make pasta at home. Did a little Amazon surfing, came across these attachments, saw that people liked it, thought I'd give it a try: I successfully made pasta the same day the attachments were delivered. It took an attempt to get the dough right (so expect to lose at least one batch), but once I figured out what the dough was supposed to be like, the rest went like magic and was incredibly easy and fast.
- For many years I relied on my tried and true hand-crank pasta machine. Didn't need any new-fangled gadgets. Well, I listened to a friend rave about the KitchenAid attachment, noticed the dust on my hand-crank machine, and decided to give it a try. Armed with my never-fail Marcella Hazan pasta recipe I made a lot of fettucine in a very short time. I especially appreciated the fact that you have two hands to work the dough with, since you don't have to crank. A real winner.
- If you love being in the kitchen, love cooking, and love your KitchenAid, these rollers you will also love. It was fun making my own pasta and it tasted sooo much better than store bought. You can't screw it up, either. Easy to use, easy to clean, a no-brainer. Sure, you can buy a bag of pasta for a buck, but spending the money on these is worth it if you love cooking and doing this stuff and also appreciate home made foods with no ingredients you cannot pronounce!
- These rollers perform exactly as they should. no issues. we use them about once a week. they do require some TLC, but that's expected with things that have flour mixed in with mechanics.
- This pasta maker works so well. I had never made pasta before and even the first batch came out perfect. I use semolina flour and used the recipe on the package. I really like having both hands free and not having to crank. I can't imagine trying to handle the dough and having to crank at the same time. This set of a roller and two cutter is very versatile. I can make lasagna noodles and fettucini from thick to thin and spaghetti (regular all the way down to really small). Great product!
- This product works great! The Peter Pasta video (cooking.com and uTube) was great to show how to use it. It is simple! I read the reviews of the various past options from KitchenAid and this one got the best reviews - and they are right! We made ravioli and fettucini so far with great success. We just used a simple VillaWare 10 square ravioli maker along with this product and were delighted. The only negative thing is that I opened the pasta maker, put it in my sink to wash it before I saw the label to not submerged the parts. So, a word of caution - don't submerge the parts!
- I received the pasta rollers as a birthday gift in June and I'm still lovin' it! I've used it numerous times in the short time I've had it. I absolutely love the lasgna noodles that this creates. I also have the mixer attachment pack (that comes with the pasta plates) and I have to say that this is 100% better than the other one! Even my son and husband enjoy playing with the pasta rollers. The pasta rollers have been a fun, new adventure in my kitchen!
- It's so easy, and delicious too!
- Little by little, I am learning to make our food from scratch. It's challenging, fun and the results are usually terrific.
This is the second Kitchen Aid attachment I've purchased (the first was the ice cream maker which is great also) and we're very happy with it.
I have made pasta from scratch without a pasta maker. Mixed the dough, kneaded the dough, rolled out the dough and cut the dough. That was a big job! The noodles tasted good but it was very hard work - I don't know how our grannies did it. :-)
Making it in your Kitchen Aid mixer is a snap. You mix and knead the pasta dough in your KA, wrap in plastic or cover with a damp towel for 15-20 minutes then roll and cut. If you go to the KA website they have a forum and I found a bunch of great recipe on there and there's a video on YouTube that shows you just how to do it.(search 'pasta Kitchen Aid' and you should find it) Other then the resting time it took less then 10 minutes and the pasta was SO good. Next we're going to try part whole wheat pasta and then fresh basil pasta.
I did make a test batch first (one cup flour with water to make a dough) in case there was any flaking/oil as some other reviewers have mentioned. There was one drop of oil but no flaking so it's a good idea just in case. It'll also give you a good idea of how to work everything. It was easy to clean with the included brush.
Wonderful and highly recommended!
- None of the metal shaving problems with mine. Works great out of the box. Easy to clean.
- The wife and kids made pasta all weekend when we got this thing! Loved it!!

- When I used this pasta roller, there was grease on the inside of the roller and it kept getting on the pasta, with no way to clean the inside of it. It was very diffiult to feed the pasta into the roller and the pasta recipe included was too dry. I returned this to Filenes and with the same money, I bought the Ron Popeil pasta maker, which is very easy to uses and requires almost no work on your part. Don't buy this, buy the other Ron pasta maker. With Ron Popeil, you can just through in the ingredients and pasta comes out.
- Lasagna Yes, Fettuccine No, Spaghetti No
- Rolls out beautiful lasagna dough if you follow the receipt.
The instruction manual is wrong when it says you can cut pasta dough at the #4 or #5 thicknesses.
The fettuccine and spaghetti strands stick together as it comes out of the cutter. I called KitchenAid and the customer service person said you had to roll Spaghetti to #5 or #6 and Fettuccine to #7 or #8. These settings are too thin for my taste. KitchenAid offered to sell me a new one at a discount. I declined.

- After reading the reviews about cleaning this product, I am pleasantly surprised! My daughter and I mixed up a recipe of the basic dough in the handbook, and it came out great! Very easy to use, and no problem cleaning. I think it depends on the consistency of the dough as to whether or not dough gets stuck. Definatly a great product, there's nothing better than fresh pasta!

- Used the KitchenAid pasta roller for a new mixer I bought and loved it.
I also bought the pasta maker that grinds meat as well, i found that the roller set works much better. The rollers don't heat up as the extruder does, and the extruder seems to make the mixer motor hot.
