- Sanyo's convection oven combines the best of powerful convection cooking, baking and toasting with a stylish, stainless steel design. The convection oven features full-width heaters on top and bottom and twin convection inlets for rapid and even heat distribution. It keeps track of the cooking progress with its 40-minute digital timer and lighted countdown indicators. Use it to cook meat and poultry dishes, bake pies and casseroles, toast up to four slices of bread at once and reheat leftovers. The width of the opening is 10-in. wide - large enough to hold a 10-in. pizza or a 9-in. pie. The panel on front offers one-touch toasting for heating one, two or three-to-four slices of bread for perfect browning every time. It even allows for bread that's frozen. The temperature ranges from 180- to 470-degrees F for precise baking. For easier access to hot baking sheets or pie pans, the oven's rack automatically slides out when the door is opened; remove the oven rack completely for easy cleaning. Included with your Sanyo convection oven is a nonstick oven tray and crumb tray and an English/Spanish instruction manual with recipes.

- Sanyo Convection Toaster Oven - Great Product
- I finally have this toaster oven and it's great. Works great and looks great. I originally ordered this through Walmart.com since it was cheaper. It was shipped site to store not once but twice and came in damaged both times. If you are considering purchasing this product I would suggest ordering it from Amazon. It may be a bit more expensive but the lack of frustration, aggrevation and not having to deal with Walmart.com and their drop kick delivery method was well worth the extra money. The item was delivered quickly and in perfect condition.
- Best Stainless Steel Oven on the Market
- After trying two different other stainless steel toaster ovens (Delonghi, B&D) finally found the perfect one. This does exactly what you want it to do first and foremost....toast. It toasts evenly & quickly. The size is pretty compact as well and looks sharp. A keeper.
- Great oven, terrific price
- First Sanyo SK-VF7S Stainless Steel Digital Convection Oven arrived damaged--large dent on side but very easy return process. Another oven was sent out immediately and is fine. In addition to working very well for both baking and toasting the oven is quite attractive. You won't be disappointed. And having a frozen bread button is a plus. Only very slight negative is that it took a few tries to get used to the strange settings.
- Wonderful convection and toaster oven. Even toasts well. I've cooked chicken, and roasted acorn squash...does a wonderful job.
- This is my first amazon review. I wanted a toaster oven to eat bagel and try some other foods. It is so easy to make toast, and the flavor of bagel was just NOT what I had eaten before. Crispy on the skin, soft in the middle. I love this toaster oven !
- My mother-in-law is very frugal in her purchases and absoluteyly loves her Sanyo oven, so I figures I couldn't go wrong. I like the push button features and the size is perfect for my counter top.
- GREAT ITEM LOVE IT TOASTS BAGELS WELL HOWEVER ON TOAST NOT AS EVENLY ON
THE BOTTOM SIDE
- We only can comment on the looks because we could not use the oven due to cupboard space where we intended to use it. From the outward appearances, this toaster oven has a very nice design. We had to return it and Amazon was very helpful.
- Toasts beautifully, whether bread, English muffins, sandwiches. Toast is ready in about 2 minutes, unlike my $100 Euro Pro, which took at least 10 minutes to toast something. This takes up less room, is better looking and I hope will last longer. It feels sturdy and well-made. The pan to use for reheating pizza or heating items works well and is easy to clean.
- This is a nice oven, takes a little while to get used to since it heats up faster than a regular toaster oven. If heating up a bagel on 320ยบ it will burn it, so set it to a lower temp. Works very well.

- Worked well until it died
- I liked this toaster oven a lot, it made toast well, which is what I wanted. Then, after just over year, it just quit working. A repair place said the part (if they could even get it) would cost ~$100, so it's garbage now.
- Why is this rated so highly?
- I bought this item on the strength of the good reviews. After going through about five toaster ovens, this is the second worst one I have owned. You can't adjust the temperature; you can't simply "bake"; the back of this oven comes down at a sharp angle so it's hard to fit in items that are taller than 1" or you end of with smoke; it absolutely can't toast without leaving burn marks all over the bread. All in all, a poorly designed toaster oven that is going straight to the garbage once I purchase a new one.
- This toaster originally worked just fine, but 18 months out, it has started making a horrible noise in the convection fan. And of course this is just outside the 12 month warranty. Their customer support was useless -- "It's probably cheaper to buy a new one than have this one serviced. There are no Sanyo small appliance service centers". I'll tell you right now we're not going to replace it with anything from Sanyo!!
- Broke in less than 13 months
- We liked this toaster oven until the top heating element broke 13 months after we purchased it, making it basically useless. The Black 'n Decker I'd had previously was more than 12 years old and cost less than [...].
- Great if you like getting shocked
- The toaster oven works well with one big down side, it shocks you. My wife was shocked twice while putting the cooking pan in it. I also notice that the plug is not the three prong ground type so shocks are not a big surprise.
- I bought this oven about a year ago and have been satisfied with it until a few things started happening. The lower element only gets gets hot on the one side. The upper element quartz glass broke and now doesn't work at all.
There are only two of us in the household and the toaster oven was not over used or abused.
I would not purchase this unless you do not mind buying a new toaster oven every year or so.
- functional but lame toaster oven
- This toaster oven works, but I wouldn't buy it again:
* Nasty shrill beeping sound when toast is ready
* Uneven temperature distribution -- burns in some places not others
* Very coarse temperature range, e.g., you can set the oven to 320 or 400, but nothing in between
Our previous unit was the Panasonic NB-G100P, which I liked a lot better, although I was annoyed when the heater element failed after 2 years and turned out to be too difficult to replace.
- Pretty good, with a few drawbacks
- This was my first convection toaster oven, and I must say that I was very impressed when I baked my first frozen pizza in it. It was the first time that any pizza came out with the crust crispy from a toaster oven that I had used!
CONS : Just note that it is sloped at the back so when you bake something, the back half will cook faster than what is at the front. So, you'll have to remember to turn the tray halfway through cooking. I've had pizzas and toast burnt on one side and be perfect on the other, so you'll definitely have to keep an eye on the stuff while it cooks.
It does get hot, but not more than most toaster ovens. I keep mine on a countertop with plenty of space around it.
When I got mine, it came new... but the door had trouble closing after I slid in the little bottom rack. Not a big deal, since I just bent the jams in the door a little and all is well.
Price. If I had to buy this at the price listed, I would not. Fortunately, I had two amazon vouchers, so I was able to take off $50 off the retail price and got it for about $20 with free shipping when it was all said and done.
I'm looking for another toaster oven now... will definitely get one that isn't sloped in the back where the heating elements will toast food up unevenly. That can be quite annoying!
- Like teen love, good while it lasted
- Purchased this toaster oven about 20 months ago - it worked splendidly for that time and then it inexplicably died it won't toast on the top and the oven function (thermostat) is now useless. It may be that with four in the household we killed it through over use, but I doubt it - our previous toaster oven (a crappy Black and Decker)lasted 4 or 5 years. I'm hard pressed to understand why a $90 product works out to about 60 bucks a year and then you have to toss it. I may go back to buying $30 crappy toaster ovens and replace annually.

- After having used this oven for several months, I can say that we're pretty pleased with it. The toast is pretty evenly browned, even if it sometimes takes a bit more than one cycle to finish. The oven heats evenly and quickly. The set temperatures are a little odd, but we've found that if you use the setting below the recipe specifications, you'll do fine. I can even bake brownies and not have them burn in the middle, like some other small ovens we've owned (Black and Decker). Considering its small footprint, you can bake a lot, since the interior is surprisingly roomy.

- Not perfect, but makes perfect toast
- After the disaster that was my last toaster, this one is a welcome change. It just makes great toast. Unfortunately, the temperature control on the convection oven did not work. After jumping through a few hoops with the very-friendly customer service, I'm going to get a new one sent to me. All-in-all I've been happy with the purchase and look forward to trying out the working convection oven when it gets here.

- Good toaster for a toaster oven
- Most kitchen folks know that a toaster is the best appliance to make toast, not a toaster oven. But if you want the convenience that a toaster oven brings and are challenged for counter space (as we are), this one does a decent job. Yes, there are still darker stripes of toasted bread directly over the heating element, so it's a little uneven, but not nearly as bad as the Black & Decker model that preceded this one. As a toaster OVEN, so far we've loved it. My mother-in-law has trouble getting past the fact that you have only six preset temperature controls and that the timer doesn't move, but she's now conquering the learning curve. For anyone looking for a good toaster oven at a good price ($65), I recommend the Sanyo SK-VF7S!

- Great LITTLE oven/toaster
- This thing toasts bread perfectly! And it bakes very well, just very fast. I thought I would miss my old broiler oven, but this works just fine for all my countertop cooking. And the toast! Did I mention the toast??? Lighting fast, perfect golden toast. I have made chicken, fish, & garlic bread in this thing and all turned out great. My only complaint is that the inner compartment is very small. None of my little baking pans or muffin pans fit in it, but I guess its a bit of a trade off, for perfect toast.
